DIY jewelery box

January 16, 2013

Recently, I was organizing my jewelry and came to the conclusion that I need a bigger box to hold some of my favorite jewelry. Instead of buying one, I came up with the idea of creating a handmade jewelry box. I used an old box, potpourri, some leftover paint and hot glue- everything I found at home at this time. It didn't take a lot of time to paint and decorate the box and the result is great as you can see for yourself.

Items you will need:
1. a box

2. leftover paint, potpourri, hot glue

Paint the top of the bottom and wait until it dries.

Stick the decorations flowers using hot glue and enjoy your very own jewelry box.

  1. This is very pretty and a great idea for extra jewelry storage! Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend! ~Cindy,
