Today, I finally received kate spade new york: things we love: twenty years of inspiration, intriguing bits and other curiosities book and really fell in love with it. From the very first peak inside, I was totally impressed and it made me smile. The cover, the pages, the layout- everything is so perfectly designed and looks gorgeous, not mention pictures that are full of vibrant colors.
The book is a celebration of Kate Spade's brand's 20th anniversary and consists of 20 chapters full of colorful photographs, notes and notable quotes.
This book can be a piece of sun for our homes during gloomy days and it will surely bring big smiles to our faces when we have bad days. It's so optimistic and definitely worth buying. Here is just a few shots of my favorites. Enjoy!

I think I'm a little or even more than a little addicted to muted greyish colors with hints of purple. For my husband, I'm pretty sure not just for him, all of them are pretty much the same. However, I really see the difference not only in brand and their quality, but definitely in shades. For me these tones are the new black and they are chic, classy and catch the eye.
Even though I tried them all, not every of these nail polish colors I like. My favorite ones are: Sally Hansen Fearless Fog, Zoya Jana, Revlon Stormy Night, Sephora by OPI Metro Chic, and my favorite from favorites is definitely Zoya Jana. I really adore this color and I could wear it all the time. Plus, it's a brand whose nail polish colors are toxic free from the 'toxic trio'. A great article on this topic you can find here.
To get the right shade and not to have any see-through, I usually apply two coats. And how long does it last? Well, it depends. Having two kids and being a full time mom who cooks, cleans, and sometimes plays silly games with her kids can cause my nail polish to peel of quickly, so three days without any damage is as good as it gets. ;).

There is no better way to spend a valentine's day, any romantic day or just have fun with kids than making chocolate and strawberry fondue. Just by thinking about it makes my mouth water.
What is great about the fondue, it's easy to make, looks gorgeous and tastes scrumptious. You can vary the fruit, chocolate and embellish by adding nuts, sprinkles or crumbled cookies. The only thing that needs to be done earlier is buying a fondue set.
Here is what you need:
strawberries (or other fruit),
chocolate (my fave is Cadbury Milk Chocolate with Almonds),
sprinkles, nuts, crumbled cookies (optional)
fondue set ( a small one is perfect).
P.S.Unfortunately, I don't have any photos with dipped strawberries, because it was so delicious that I forgot to take a break for shooting. So, when we started eating strawberries, they just disappeared immediately. Plus our kids had so much fun.

Having shiny, beautiful highlighted hair requires a lot of care, especially, when you have colored for years. So, it's good to invest and use products that help our hair stay healthy.
The first time I have tried Kérastase Elixir Ultime Moringa Immortel, it was right after its released date, so I didn't know what to exactly expect, besides marketing promises. Aside the weird wood scent ,to which I had to get used to, I was thrilled with the results. My hair was soft, shiny, nourished and what's the most important, after few uses, it started to look much healthier.
When it comes to usage, I apply elixir three different ways: always before blow drying, sometimes on my split ends before bed as a mask treatment and as a finish after or before straightening my hair.
I'm in love with this product and even its high price doesn't discourage me from buying a second bottle since, it goes a long way. Even when you use it regularly.

We all love trends, but trends change season after season, they are just tools that inspire us. While style is something that we own, that we take care of and blossom.
My style develops year after year. The more I know myself, the more I am aware of fashion and my style.
As Gianni Versace said, "Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way you live."
So, my fashion statement is all about things I love, things that make me feel comfortable and chic. Things that make me feel powerful no matter how I feel. All of these pieces are with me season after season, no matter what the trend is, no matter how I change. They are my savers during days when I don't know what to wear. They are classic and timeless for me.

Since, I am a little obsessed with skinny jeans which I wear with everything, it was hard for me to find a perfect pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans. What I love about them, is the way I can wear them, not only with flats, but definitely with heels making them more as a night out look. My perfect match is with pointed heels, looser blouse or t-shirt and blazer.

I simply love winters like this...lots of snow, sun and the frosty air. It just could be a little warmer to play outside with the kids a little longer, but still it's fun. It always reminds me of winters that we have in Poland.
My favorite m&m's during the whole year. Even though they taste exactly the same as regular ones, I just adore them the most. Maybe, it's the pink color:)

Recently, I'm all into finding a perfect piece of art for our living room. Searching on Etsy, I think one of the best sites to find unique art, I found gorgeous contemporary abstract paintings from Libby Emi, Matthew Sakuta and One Eyed Girls. Since, my color theme is a little limited, all of my picks are full of greysih and muted colors. I also fell in love with Grant Cowan's Illustrations and if I could, I would love to have these four below. I simply adore them.

Since, my husband collects boxes from almost everything, because he thinks he may need it for something (I never could understand him :), I was finally able to implement his collectible passion. I used our iPad case box for a mail organizer and I really really love it. So, he maybe on to something.

As a full time mom of two young kids, I barely find free time for my loves. But when I finally have time just for myself, I often spend it on browsing the internet to find different kinds of art. Given my appreciation for luxury, beauty and art, I found these two gorgeous RED Valentino Bow iPad cases.

This morning I made someone's day by offering to help, and thanks to what many people consider karma, my good deed was rewarded. Not only did my day end without any issues, I also found something really beautiful- two gorgeous necklaces....:) And since tomorrow ( actually in Poland is already Saturday)is my mom's birthday, I would like to wish you Mom Happy Birthday :*
